How do I make this my defult statup page in my browser?

At the top of your screen choose OPTIONS then GENERAL PREFERENCES. The appearance screen should pop up.

Now look about mid screen for your STARTUP area. Where it says BROWSER STARTS WITH: fill in the dot for HOME PAGE LOCATION. Now directly under that fill in the box with:

Now when you start your Netscape browser the Lavaca County Home Page will be the first page that pops up.

At the top click on Edit and then Preferences. The Preferences screen will now pop up. Highlight the Navigator on the left and click on the + in front of it (if not already open). In the right hand of this screen you will see Navigator Starts With... make sure the Home Page is selected. The next selection you will see is the Home Page screen. Make sure Location states: http://www.lavacacounty.com Now at the bottom of the screen simply choose OK. Now the next time you start Netscape 4 you will start with the Lavacac County Home Page!

Netscape Communicator 4.X At the top click on Edit and then Preferences. The Preferences screen will now pop up. Look on the right of the screen that states "Clicking the Home button will take you to.." type http://www.lavacacounty.com

At the top of the screen choose VIEW then OPTIONS. This brings up the OPTIONS screen.

Now click on the NAVIGATION tab along the top. In the customize section PAGE: should say START PAGE. In the ADDRESS: section fill in http://www.lavacacounty.com . At the bottom of the page click on APPLY and OK.

Now when you start your browser the Lavaca County Home Page will be the first page that pops up.
