Registered members of this site can now submit local-area news articles, graphical event flyers, and blog-type articles directly to the Lavaca County Community Website absolutely FREE! Articles you submit are featured on the front page of the website for county-wide exposure.

Submitting articles couldn't be easier using the new submission form. The server takes the information you enter into the submission form and builds a professional-looking web page to display your information. Any pictures you include are automatically re-sized allowing you to choose them directly from your digital camera or computer. YouTube videos can also be included in your articles.

The submission form also accepts flyers created in PDF, Word, Power Point, Open Office and image formats such as JPG, GIF or PNG. The server will display your flyer to the viewer even if they do not have the software installed on their computer that you create it with.

Facebook Like and Share buttons are automatically integrated in your articles. This allows readers to share your articles with their friends on Facebook for added exposure. You can even click the Like and Share buttons for your own articles as well.

You can edit your articles at any time. The server displays a list of all the articles and you submit. If you are not satisfied with an article you submit you can delete it at any time.

The web page you are reading now is an example of how your article will look when it is published.
