She was the mother of three sons, Gene and wife, Bethany, of North Pole, Alaska, Jason and wife, Nicole, of Hallettsville, Texas, and Joshua, of Salt Lake City, Utah. Never at a loss for words, Carolyn was always ready to talk about her boys.
